At Stakes, innovation goes hand in hand with inclusion. We take pride in fostering a diverse workforce that creates opportunities for individuals from all backgrounds and abilities. Ten percent of the company’s 300 people workforce comprises individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, many of whom rank among top performers.
In partnership with the local county school system, we provide 12 internships per semester for students with intellectual and developmental disabilities. A number of these interns are now full time employees.

In 2022, Stakes was named National Employer of the Year by APSE, the U.S. trade organization for disability employment service providers. In 2024, co-founder, Jed Seifert, received the ASI Counselor Bess Cohn Humanitarian of the Year Award for the companies efforts to champion inclusion.
